====== About the Linux OS Included with the HP MiniNote ======

The HP MiniNote 2133, has the option of coming pre installed with SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED), which is a distribution maintained by Novell, which not only has links to Linux but other server technologies as well. This should mean that the operating system will be very well supported and tech support should be easy to come by. The HP MiniNote 2133 will also have the backing of the linux community as well as the support of HP.

SUSE Enterprise Linux Desktop (SLED), similar to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), relies on the rpm software installation system, As an enterprise distribution it will have more regular support updates and longer term support.
