This unofficial website was built on the 11th May 2007 by Lee. The goal of this site is to collect information and provide a proper medium for discussion on the HP MiniNote. The 2133 MiniNote pc was released by HP After the EEEpc showed there was a niche in the market for an ultra small, ultra cheap laptop. The EEEpc was aimed primarily at children but fortunately for Asus, the machine found favor with those who need a non-luxury level ultraportable. HP's MiniNote is not designed for children and has some advantages as well as some disadvantages over the EEEpc. The MiniNote is due for release in May 2008, early in what is to be an exciting year for the ultraportable notebook and the computer market as a whole.
The inspiration for the layout and software used in this site came from The EEEUser.com site, credit where credits due.
We are more than happy to allow users to edit this wiki and in fact we encourage it, so feel free to add sections to this page and get more involved in the MiniNote community.

This site is split into three main sections, The Blog / News page, The Wiki and The Forums
If you want to contribute to the MiniNoteUser website, you will have to create separate usernames in each section, we would recommend that you use the same username for all sections, if for nothing else to ensure continuity.
Many communities, projects, and other special interest community groups will sometimes toss up an IRC channel and call that “Community Support”.
This community has additional, interactive, support in the form of electronic conferencing. Known to the general public as: “Chat Rooms”.
Where the IRC system ends with interactive text communications, this electronic conferencing starts with interactive text communications. Not yet implemented are the audio and video conferencing features.

For any assistance in regarding the HP 2133 MiniNote, you can call 1-800-474-6836 for support. This number was administered by forum User ZenPirate, since many HP employees are unaware of the existence of the HP 2133 MiniNote.
